Kent Police have issued an urgent appeal for help in locating 76-year-old Patrick Hughes, who was reported missing from Tankerton on Friday, 26 July 2024. Patrick was last seen around 9:00 AM in the St Anne’s Road area. He is believed to have been dressed in light-coloured trousers and a light-coloured Trespass sunhat, similar to the one shown in the police notice.

Patrick is described as a white male, approximately five feet eight inches tall, with white hair and a ‘goatee’-style beard. He has a medium build and is known to have connections in Herne Bay, Whitstable, and Canterbury.

Local law enforcement is increasingly concerned for Patrick’s welfare and is urging residents in these areas to be vigilant and check their outbuildings. Anyone who has seen Patrick or has information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the police immediately by calling 999 and quoting reference 26-1619.

This appeal extends to both residents and visitors in the area, as every bit of information could be crucial in ensuring Patrick’s safe return. The community’s cooperation and support can make a significant difference in cases like this.
