Third Arrest Made in Enfield Teenager Fatal Shooting Investigation
Overview
Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Keanu Harker in Enfield have made a third arrest.
In the early hours of Thursday, 24 July, firearms officers from the Met Police, alongside detectives from the Specialist Crime Command, executed warrants at two addresses in Enfield.
A second 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He was taken into custody at a London police station and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Previous arrests and charges
Two other people have already been arrested and charged in connection with Keanu’s murder:
- A 17-year-old boy (who cannot be named for legal reasons) was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday, 29 June and charged the following day.
- Eliezer Mbike, 25 , of Oulton Road, Tottenham, was arrested and charged on Monday, 30 June with perverting the course of justice.
A trial has been scheduled to begin at The Old Bailey on 18 May 2026.
Incident details
Police were called at 20:45hrs on Thursday, 26 June to reports of gunfire on Great Cambridge Road, Enfield.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found Keanu Harker suffering from gunshot injuries. Despite being treated at the scene and rushed to hospital, he tragically died from his injuries.
Keanu’s family are being supported by specialist officers as the investigation continues.
