Police have launched an investigation after bones were discovered in Green Park Way, Greenford, prompting a local cordon and forensic assessment.

Officers were called to the scene at 4.09pm on Wednesday, 30 July, following reports that bones had been found.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed:

“Officers attended and an investigation is underway.
Tests are currently being taken to establish the origin of the bones, but they are believed to be animal at this early stage.”
