Grant Turner Caught Red-Handed

Police Praise Swift Action and Community Impact

“We quickly picked up this investigation which led to a timely arrest and charge of Turner,” said PC Ben Marshall of the North Somerset neighbourhood policing team.

“This case shows our proactive policing and partnership working, sending a clear message to businesses that offences like this won’t be tolerated.”

“The impact on small retailers is huge — it disrupts their business and causes distress to owners and staff.”

With boots on the ground and fast follow-up, Avon and Somerset Police have sent a warning to crooks targeting local shops. Small business owners can breathe a little easier knowing criminals face stiff penalties.
