A 17-year-old boy was rushed to hospital following an assault on Ealing Road, Wembley, on Wednesday afternoon.
Police and Forensics Swarm Scene as Road Shut Down
Emergency services were called just before 5pm on 1 October after reports of an attack near the junction with Chaplin Road. By 5.30pm, police had sealed off Ealing Road in both directions, setting up a cordon to aid their investigation.
A bicycle was found within the cordoned area, suggesting it may be linked to the incident. Forensics teams worked throughout the evening, with the road reopening fully by 11:40pm.
Victim Suffers Head Injuries But Condition Stable
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson revealed: “Officers attended the scene at 4.45pm following reports of an assault. A 17-year-old boy was discovered with head injuries and taken to hospital. His condition is not life-changing or life-threatening.”
So far, no arrests have been made as enquiries continue. Police urge anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting CAD 5437/01OCT.
Ambulance Service Confirms Priority Hospital Transfer
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.47pm to an assault on Ealing Road. An ambulance crew treated and transported the patient to hospital as a priority.”
