A bus crash on Great Peter Street, Westminster, just before 1.40pm yesterday (October 7) caused panic and disruption. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to assist those involved in the collision.

Four People Assessed, One Hospitalised

London Ambulance Service treated four people at the site. Three refused medical treatment, but one victim was taken to hospital. Their condition remains unknown.

“We assessed four patients at the scene. Three people declined treatment and one was taken to hospital,” said a London Ambulance Service spokesperson.

Investigation Underway as Authorities Respond

Transport for London confirmed they are working with bus operator Transport UK to probe the crash. A spokesperson expressed sympathy for those affected:

“Our thoughts are with the one person who is believed to have been injured and with anyone else impacted by this distressing incident. We have support available for anyone affected.”

Eyewitness Captures the Aftermath

Taxi driver Michael (Bubba) H shared images of damage on Twitter, showing not just the bus but also a nearby cab badly smashed.

“Another bus crash, Gt. Peter St. poor cab the other side smashed up too,” he wrote.
