SERIAL ROBBER Knife-Wielding Burglar Jailed for Stalking Same Shop Three Days in a Row

urglar Jailed for Stalking Same Shop Three Days in a Row

A 22-year-old thug has been locked up for over five years after repeatedly robbing the same shop in Northampton – three days running. Ayman Ali’s cheeky crime spree ended in a prison cell after a dramatic police hunt.

From Pilfering Sweets to Robbing the Till

Ali first struck on December 28, sneaking into a staff-only area on Clinton Road and nicking a bottle of Malibu rum, sweets, and crisps. Not satisfied, he returned the next day armed with a kitchen knife. The culprit jumped the counter, grabbed the till tray stuffed with cash, then made off.

Sham Shop Worker Spooks Customers

Undeterred, Ali came back a third day. After a spat with a cashier, he raided the till again. Then, in bizarre fashion, he started serving customers—pocketing their money and even briefly swiping a mobile phone. It was a brazen stunt that raised alarm.

Fast Police Action Ends Crime Spree

Officers swooped, identifying and arresting Ali quickly. He faced multiple charges: two counts of robbery, burglary, knife possession, and even assaulting a police constable during arrest by pushing him.

At Northampton Crown Court, Ali admitted his guilt and was sentenced on October 3 to five years and three months behind bars. A harsh lesson for the serial shop robber.
