Blackpool Brawl Leaves Man Fighting for Life
A man in his 20s is in a critical condition after suffering a serious head injury in an assault on Blackpool’s Promenade. Lancashire Police were called just before 5pm on Sunday, October 19th following a fight between a group of men outside Coral Island.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Officers rushed to the scene and quickly took the victim to hospital, where he remains seriously ill. No arrests have been made yet as police work to identify those responsible. Detectives have launched an investigation and are hunting witnesses to shed light on the incident.
Who Is This Man? CCTV Released
Detective Constable Russ Bargh of Blackpool CID said:
“This assault has left a man with a serious head injury. We are appealing to anyone who saw what happened or who might have information that could help our investigation to come forward. In particular, we want to identify the man pictured in the CCTV still.”
Police urge anyone who recognises the man in the image to get in touch immediately.
