Two family members have landed behind bars for wielding swords in Farnborough. On October 2, police were called to Burns Close after reports two men were carrying blades.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the weapons weren’t used. Officers quickly tracked down and arrested the pair at another address in the town.
Teech and Nephew Jermaine Caught with Blades
- Teech Rusike, 28, of Chaucer Road, was charged with possessing a knife or sharp pointed article in public, plus a Class B drug.
- Jermaine Rusike, 20, from Montgomery Road, faced charges for possessing a knife or sharp pointed article in a public place.
Guilty Pleas Lead to Jail Sentences
Both men pleaded guilty and were sentenced at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on November 11.
Teech was locked up for eight months, while Jermaine got six months behind bars.
The swift justice sends a clear message: don’t bring weapons to Farnborough’s streets.
