Teen Charged After Man Stabbed in Bishop’s Waltham

Detectives have charged a 17-year-old boy over a violent stabbing in Bishop’s Waltham. The attack happened late on Friday, May 31, at around 10.30pm in Battery Hill.

Man Stabbed in Chest

The victim, a 59-year-old man, suffered a stab wound to his chest and was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries aren’t life-threatening.

Four Arrested, One Charged

Police arrested four people linked to the attack. The 17-year-old from Winchester now faces charges of wounding with intent and carrying a knife in public.

He is set to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, 3 June).

Others Bailed

  • A 17-year-old from Chandler’s Ford and an 18-year-old man from Bishop’s Waltham have been bailed until Friday, 28 June.
  • A 15-year-old boy from Swanmore has been bailed until Sunday, 30 June.
