Tragic Murder Shakes Andover Family
The family of Lucy-Anne Rushton have paid a heartbreaking tribute after she was found injured at a Suffolk Road home in Andover and later died. Police were called to the scene at 5.30am on Sunday, 23 June.
Lucy-Anne’s Family Breaks Silence
Detectives launched a murder investigation following Lucy-Anne’s death. Her loved ones describe her as “a beautiful mother, daughter, sister, niece, auntie and friend.”
“Her life was taken away from us all. Part of her will always live on through her children,” the family said. “There will never be a day that she isn’t thought about. She was the life and soul of the party and will be missed enormously.”
They added: “We are absolutely heartbroken that we will never see her gorgeous face again. R.I.P our Angel. Never forgotten, always in our hearts. Mum’s wild child!”
Man Charged Over Lucy-Anne’s Death
Shaun Peter Dyson, 28, from Bury Hill Close, Andover, has been charged with murder. He appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 26 June 2019. The community waits anxiously as the case moves forward.
