Massive Warehouse Blaze in Crayford Engulfs Furniture Store

Chaos broke out on Thames Road, Crayford, as a massive fire ripped through a single-storey furniture warehouse. Fifteen fire engines and about 100 firefighters battled the inferno that destroyed the entire building.

No Injuries but Thick Smoke Blankets Area

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the blaze. A london/" title="London" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Fire Brigade spokesperson revealed, “An employee from the next-door warehouse first spotted smoke and smelled burning. They made the first of 36 emergency calls.”

The fire sent plumes of thick black smoke billowing into the sky, prompting authorities to warn locals and drivers to keep windows shut. The Brigade received the call at 6.22pm and had the situation under control by 10.37pm.

Fire Crews From Across London Rush to Scene

Firefighters from Bexley and nearby London fire stations joined forces to tackle the blaze. Additional support came from neighbouring fire services, showing a major coordinated response.
