Man Charged Over Essex Burglary and Pub Brawl
David Osbaldeston, 27, from Rishton, faces a string of charges after two separate incidents rocked Accrington and Clayton-le-Moors last month.
Burglary and Bladed Weapon Charges
Detectives say Osbaldeston is charged with aggravated burglary and possession of a bladed article following a break-in at a home on Essex Street, Accrington, on October 3.
Pub Brawl Sparks Serious Assault Charges
The next day, Osbaldeston was also slapped with Section 18 wounding and affray charges linked to a violent disturbance at The Royal Oak Pub in Clayton-le-Moors.
Previous Offence Sees Jail Time
During a Blackburn Magistrates Court appearance this morning, Osbaldeston admitted to criminal damage and a public order offence tied to an incident on Spring Street, Rishton, on September 28. He was sentenced to 28 days behind bars.
He is now remanded in custody and will face Burnley Crown Court in November on the more serious charges.
