Dad Charged with Murder After Baby Girl Dies in Blackpool
Police have charged a man with murder following the tragic death of four-month-old Willow Lee.
Baby Found Seriously Injured at Home
Willow was discovered badly injured at a house on Onslow Road, Blackpool, on Thursday, December 3rd. She was rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital before being transferred to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Sadly, Willow passed away on Sunday, December 6th, despite efforts to save her.
Father Faces Murder Charge
Willow’s father, 28-year-old Jordan Lee, originally charged with attempted murder, now faces a murder charge after her death. The Crown Prosecution Service advised the update.
Lee is set to appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 16th.
Police Appeal for Information
A Home Office post-mortem is complete, but further expert analysis is underway to confirm the cause of death.
