Teen Charged Over East London Stabbing

14-Year-Old in Custody for Stabbing Drama

A 14-year-old boy was charged on Friday, 23 April, with Section 18 grievous bodily harm (GBH) following a stabbing incident in East London. He has been remanded to youth detention and is set to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 30 April.

Attack on Anthems Way

The charge stems from a stabbing in Anthems Way, E20, at 8.51pm on 21 April. The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was treated at the scene before being rushed to an east London hospital. Fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Two Others Released on Bail

Two additional boys, aged 13 and 15, were also arrested on suspicion of GBH. They have since been released on bail, with a return date set for mid-May. Police investigations are ongoing.
