Gunshot Horror in Preston: Two Men Charged with Attempted Murder

Man in 30s Shot in Bowlingfields

Police scrambled to Bowlingfields, Preston at around 11.10pm on Sunday, July 11 after reports of a man in his 30s suffering a gunshot wound. The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. He is now recovering.

Suspects Arrested and Charged

In a major breakthrough, cops swooped on two men at properties in Preston early Wednesday, March 2. After consulting the Crown Prosecution Service, both were charged with attempted murder this afternoon.

The accused are Paul Matheson, 38, from Houldsworth Road, and Daniel Quinn, 30, formerly of Holme Slack Lane. Both are set to appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Thursday, March 3.
