Two Teens Charged with Murder After Man Found Dead in Basingstoke
18-Year-Old and Teenager Face Murder Charges
Officers probing the death of a man in Basingstoke have charged two teenagers with murder.
Ismaila Kamarra-Jarra, 18, from Milton Close, Basingstoke, has been charged.
A 17-year-old boy from Basingstoke, whose name is protected for legal reasons, has also been charged.
Court Date Set and Other Arrests Made
Both are set to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 27 May.
An 18-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, also from Basingstoke, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but have since been released under investigation. Police inquiries are ongoing.
Man Found with Serious Injuries in Basingstoke Home
The charges follow the discovery of a man in his 30s with serious injuries inside a house in Musgrave Close on Sunday, 22 May.
Emergency services were called at 11:14 pm, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers remain in the area, and an enhanced police presence is expected as investigations continue.
