Teen Charged with Murder of 17-Year-Old Kyle Wright in Camberley
Kyle Wright, 17, was fatally stabbed in Camberley on Friday night. A fellow teenager, also 17, has been arrested and charged over the brutal killing.
Suspect Faces Multiple Charges
The accused, from Camberley, cannot be named for legal reasons. He faces charges of murder, possession of a bladed article, and possession of an offensive weapon. He is set to appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court today.
Tragic Night on Greenhill Road
Police were called to Greenhill Road near Copped Hall Drive at around 10:50pm following reports of a stabbing. Paramedics rushed to the scene but sadly Kyle was pronounced dead there.
Ongoing Investigation and Support for Family
The Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team launched an immediate investigation, which is still ongoing. Kyle’s family are receiving support from specially trained officers during this heartbreaking time.
