Woman Mauled by Pitbulls Outside Devon Road Home

At around 2.30pm on Tuesday, June 14, paramedics and police rushed to a terrifying scene on Devon Road, Blackburn. A woman was viciously attacked by dogs believed to be pitbulls in the front garden of a house.

Dogs Seized as Police Launch Investigation

Lancashire Constabulary quickly stepped in, seizing the dogs from their owner. No arrests have been made yet as detectives dig deeper into the shocking incident.

Victim Battles Serious Head and Facial Injuries

The woman was rushed to Royal Blackburn Hospital after suffering serious head and facial wounds. Detectives say her injuries are life-altering.

“We can confirm we are investigating a dog attack in Blackburn,” said Detective Sergeant Peter Davies of Blackburn CID. “Our thoughts are with her and her family at this difficult time.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses
