Witnesses Are Being Sought In Connection With Reported Criminal Damage In A Deal Park

Three incidents of criminal damage in Victoria Park were reported to local officers in June 2022.

A window was broken on the first occasion, a toilet system was broken on the second, and a hole was made in a slide in the park’s play area on the third.

The investigations are still ongoing, and officers are urging any local residents with information to come forward.

PC ‘The people of Deal have a right to use this public space without it being ruined by a minority,’ said Danielle Rolfe.

‘I would encourage anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour or vandalism in the area to report it to us as soon as possible so that we can respond and take action against those responsible,’ says the mayor.
