Man Charged with Murder of 9-Year-Old Girl in Boston
Deividas Skebas, 22, has been charged with the murder of Lilia Valutyte, aged nine. The tragic stabbing took place on Fountain Lane, Boston, at around 6.20pm on July 28.
Arrest Made After Public Tips
Armed officers arrested Skebas in Boston’s Central Park area at about 2.45pm on Saturday. The arrest followed vital intelligence and information from members of the public.
Skebas, from Thorold Street, Boston, is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Monday, August 1.

Chief Superintendent Martyn Parker said: “This is a heartbreaking case that has affected many people in Boston and beyond.” He added that officers are actively engaging with the community, listening to concerns, and maintaining a strong presence in town.
