Cross-Dressing Peeping Tom Exposed Himself at Care Homes Across Burnley
Shocked witnesses have revealed how Paul Whittaker prowled the grounds of several care homes dressed in women’s underwear — including bras, knickers, and stockings — while exposing himself to staff. The 53-year-old masked or covered his face with underwear in a bid to avoid detection.
Six Shocking Exposures from Burnley to Brierfield
- August 17: Whittaker struck first at 4.30am and 5am in Burnley, wearing a white clown mask, basque, pink bloomer-style knickers, stockings, and suspenders.
- New Year’s Night: At 11.15pm in Brierfield, he exposed himself while sporting knickers on his head.
- January 27: Back in Burnley early morning, he wore a mask and Spiderman-style jogging bottoms while flashing staff.
- February 1: At 6am in Burnley, he appeared in a bloodied, Halloween-style white bandage mask, a blue top, and a white bra.
- April 24: At 4am in Burnley, CCTV caught him exposing himself in clothing similar to his Brierfield offence.
- May 10: At 2.50am in Burnley, mobile footage showed Whittaker wearing light-coloured underwear on his head, a light bra, ripped suspenders, a blue nurse’s top and pink knickers.
Cops Used CCTV to Nab Cross-Dressing Pervert
Police connected a Peugeot 206 seen near the crime scenes to Whittaker’s home on Berrington Way, Oakworth. Inside, officers discovered women’s underwear and clothes matching those worn during his creepy stunts.
Whittaker, now homeless, was found guilty of six counts of indecent exposure at Burnley Crown Court. He awaits sentencing on December 21 and remains remanded in custody.
