Couple Face Grim Charges
A 37-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman from Nuneaton are facing three serious charges linked to the death of one-year-old Elaina Rose Aziz. The charges include manslaughter by gross negligence, causing or enabling the death of a child, and deliberately or negligently assaulting or neglecting a child.
Tragic Incident in Warwickshire
Baby Elaina suffered cardiac arrest at a home on Top Knot Close, Nuneaton, on the evening of August 6, 2020. Despite efforts, she later died in hospital. Warwickshire Police launched an investigation following the heartbreaking incident.
Next Steps in Court
The pair are due to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court next week to answer the charges.
