Further Appeal After Firearms Discharge Farleton Drive, Bradford  – UKNIP

Detectives investigating a firearms discharge in Bradford on Farleton Drive on July 7 are appealing for information about a bike that was used in the shooting. 

The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team would like to speak to anyone who has seen the bike (pictured) in the Bradford area from Friday 7 July to the Saturday 15 July. 

The bike was recovered from the canal on the 15 July just off Dockfield Road, Shipley.

Further Appeal After Firearms Discharge Farleton Drive, Bradford 

Two men were injured in the shooting.  

One of the men remains in hospital in a critical condition, the other has since been released from hospital.

Two men Nathan Scott, aged 32 of Sandholme Drive, Bradford and Tommy Lupton aged 20, of no fixed address, were charged with attempt murder and were remanded into custody to next appear at Bradford Crown Court on 14 August. 

Three other males aged 29, 24, and 34 who were arrested in connection with the incident have been released under investigation. 

A 37 year old man was arrested earlier today on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in police custody at this time. 


Temporary Detective Chief Inspector Guy Shackleton of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, who is leading the investigation, said

“Extensive enquiries are being carried out by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team into what was an extremely serious incident which has left a man critically ill in hospital.  

“Today we have released an image of the bike that was used in the shooting and are appealing for anyone who saw this bike or has information about who was on it to come forward. 

“We are building up a picture of the bikes movements from 7 July to 15 July where it was then found dumped in the Canal in Shipley. 

“Anyone who has any CCTV footage or dash cam of the bike in the Bradford area is asked to come forward and help the investigation.”
