Double Murder Shocker in Thornaby Flat
Cleveland Police made a grisly discovery on Wednesday, 21st December, finding two bodies at a flat on Thornaby Road, Thornaby.
Victims Identified as Young Italians
The victims have been officially named as 26-year-old Antonino Calabro, known as Nino, and 20-year-old Francesca Di Dio. Both hailed from Italy. Specially trained officers are now supporting the devastated families through this tragic ordeal.
Man Arrested and Charged
A man has been charged with two counts of murder. He is set to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday, 26th December.
Investigation and Scene Security
Police have established a cordon around the flat, which will remain in place for several days as the investigation continues.
