Brother Stabs Brother to Death in Fish & Chip Shop Horror
Inderjit Klare plunged a knife into his brother Jasreet multiple times inside Carters Fish and Chip Shop on Tenters Street, Bishop Auckland, in the early hours of October 9 last year.
Emergency crews from North East Ambulance Service arrived quickly, but tragically, 40-year-old Jasreet was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Speak Out on Devastating Case
Detective Superintendent Lee Gosling of durham.police.uk" title="Durham Constabulary">Durham Constabulary led the investigation. He described the attack as “truly horrific” and said it has left the family shattered for life.
“The last six months have been incredibly difficult for Jasreet’s family, and our thoughts remain with them. We will continue to offer all necessary support,” added Det. Supt. Gosling.
“While nothing can undo what happened, I hope the family finds some comfort now justice has been served. I also thank our officers whose dedication helped secure this conviction, ensuring Inderjit will spend many years in prison.”
