Bournemouth Drug Dealer Caught With £4,100 Worth of Cocaine
Ermal Jahelezi, 23, from Bournemouth, was sentenced to three years and seven months behind bars for drug offences. The Bournemouth Crown Court handed down the sentence on Friday 14 April 2023 for his role in supplying Class A drugs and possession with intent.
Police Crack Down on Talbot Road Dealer
On 8 March 2022, officers responded to concerns for an occupant at a Talbot Road address. Jahelezi was arrested after being found with 39 bags of cocaine and £170 cash. A subsequent search of the property uncovered a large haul of suspected cocaine.
He was released under investigation as enquiries continued.
Stopped in Holdenhurst Road with More Drugs
On the evening of 8 August 2022, police on patrol stopped a Mitsubishi in Holdenhurst Road. The driver initially gave false details but was soon identified as Jahelezi. A search of the vehicle revealed more cocaine.
Jahelezi was arrested again, and a further search during custody uncovered an additional stash of cocaine. The total street value was around £4,100.
Police Vow to Tackle Drug Supply
“We recognise the impact the supply of drugs has on our communities and the concern it causes for residents,” said Police Constable Kirsty Foster of the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team.
“We are committed to doing all we can to disrupt the activity of those involved in supplying drugs.”
