Man Charged After Teen Stabbed in Sheffield City Centre
A 48-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a brutal stabbing in Sheffield city centre last week.
Teenager Seriously Injured Near Town Hall
John Jubb was arrested on Friday, September 15, just days after a 14-year-old boy was found with severe chest wounds on Norfolk Street, close to the Town Hall. The teenager was rushed to hospital where medics confirmed his injuries, while serious, are not life-threatening.
Suspect to Face Court on Monday
Jubb, from Wincobank Avenue, was charged on Saturday, September 16, and remains in custody. He is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 18.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Out
Investigators continue to probe the stabbing and appeal to anyone who saw what happened or has information to come forward. Officials hope public tips will help piece together the events leading up to the attack.
