Police Officer Faces Court Over Alleged Sexual Assault
PC Rachel Bright, serving with the South West Command Unit, is due in Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 10 October. She faces a sexual assault charge linked to an alleged off-duty incident in December 2022.

The alleged victim is reportedly someone PC Bright knows personally. The charges were formally issued via postal requisition in mid-September after a thorough police investigation.

Due to the serious nature of the allegations, PC Bright has been suspended from her police duties while the case moves through the courts.
