Man Charged Over Fatal M4 Crash That Killed Two Women
A man has been hit with serious charges after a deadly smash on the M4 motorway claimed the lives of two women three months ago.
Terrible M4 Collision Kills Two Women
The fatal crash happened in the early hours of Monday, July 17, on the eastbound M4 between junctions 22 and 21. Emergency teams raced to the scene after a two-vehicle collision. Tragically, two women in their 50s and 60s were pronounced dead at the crash site. Other passengers in the vehicle needed urgent hospital treatment.
Liam Slade Faces Multiple Dangerous Driving Charges
Liam Slade, 33, from Aberthaw Circle in Newport, is now charged with a string of offences linked to the horror collision. He faces two counts each of causing death by dangerous driving, causing death while disqualified, and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Slade was held overnight and is set to appear at bristol/" title="Bristol" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bristol Magistrates Court today, Tuesday, October 10.
Investigation Continues, Others Released
Three other men were arrested as part of the probe but have been released without charge, police confirmed.
