Six Charged Over Brutal Vauxhall Metal Pole Attack
Six suspects are set to face Inner London Crown Court in early November after a serious assault in Vauxhall left a man fighting for his life.
Gruesome Assault on Albert Embankment
Just before 4:15am on Sunday, 1 October, police were called to Albert Embankment near Vauxhall Bridge following reports of a violent attack involving a metal pole. A 24-year-old man suffered a severe head injury and was rushed to hospital. His condition remains life-threatening.
Suspects Named and Charged With GBH

- Lewis Hysa, 21, of New York House, Stadium Way, Wembley
- Joni Spahiu, 21, of Oakley House, 10 Electric Boulevard, SW11
- Alkomber Kojtasi, 23, of Winchester Street, Ealing W3
- Arlinddo Kojtasi, 22, of Winchester Street, Ealing W3 8PF
- Mickyas Oumer, 22, of Bath Court, Bath Street, EC1
All six have been charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) following the extensive police probe by the Central South Command Unit.
