Protester Held for Violent Disorder in Piccadilly Circus Clash

Callum Gibson, 27, from Wisbech, was arrested in King’s Lynn on Wednesday, 25 October after a police inquiry.

Charged Over London Protests

Gibson appeared in custody at Norwich Magistrates’ Court and has been remanded to Southwark Crown Court for a hearing on Thursday, 23 November.

He faces two charges. One relates to violent disorder during a protest in Piccadilly Circus on 14 October 2023. The other involves a separate incident outside the Honor Oak public house earlier this year, also during a protest.

Officers stress there is no place for violence in public demonstrations.
