Drug Dealer Busted with 1kg of Cocaine on Norfolk Roads

Charles Harris, 29, from Outwell Road, Emneth, was slammed with a hefty jail sentence after being caught red-handed with a massive stash of cocaine.

Snared During Vehicle Stop

On 2 September 2023, Norfolk cops stopped a car Harris was driving. A search revealed a whopping 1kg of class A cocaine, alongside two mobile phones and a pile of cash. Harris was immediately arrested.

More Phones, More Evidence at Home

Police didn’t stop there. Harris’s home was raided, uncovering three more mobile phones. Following questioning at King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre, he was charged with possession with intent to supply.

Jail Time: Five Years and Seven Months

At Norwich Crown Court on 27 October, Harris pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years and seven months behind bars.

Detective Constable Charlotte Bunting said: “Our officers are working every day to challenge and disrupt those who choose to distribute drugs in Norfolk.”
