High Wycombe Man Locked Up for Drug Dealing Spree
Rashran Francis, 28, from Hithercroft Road, High Wycombe, has been sentenced to three years and eight months behind bars for dealing cocaine and heroin. The drug dealer pleaded guilty to the charges at an earlier hearing on 7 August.
Caught Red-Handed in Drug Deal
Police caught Francis in the act on 5 August during a drug deal. He was promptly arrested under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. Officers found cash and drug paraphernalia on him at the scene.
A later search of his home uncovered more drugs, bicarbonate soda, cling film, and numerous sim cards—classic tools for drug distribution.
Drugs and Phones Destroyed, Cash Seized
At Aylesbury Crown Court on 14 November, Judge ordered the destruction of the seized cocaine, heroin, phones, and all drug equipment. Francis was also made to forfeit a sum of cash and pay a victim surcharge.
Following his plea, Francis was recalled to prison to serve out the rest of a previous sentence for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Police Vow to Crack Down on Dealers
“Francis was caught with drugs in his possession and it was clear he was looking to profit from the sale of class A,” said PC Matt Pepper of the Stronghold Team.
“We will continue to take strong action on drugs, investigating those who deal drugs and bringing them before the courts to face justice.
“Members of the public can help us by reporting information to build intelligence and take action. Drugs cause untold harm in our communities, and following a robust investigation, Francis has been brought to justice.”
