Young Man, 26, Fatally Stabbed in East London Car
A shocking knife attack has rocked East London after 26-year-old Anselam Senaj was found dead inside a car in Newham. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was discovered at the junction of Victoria Avenue and Grangewood Street on the evening of November 11.
Five Arrested for Murder, Including Four Teens
Police have charged five suspects over the brutal killing. Among them are four teenagers and a 20-year-old man:
- Khalis Malik, 18, Pittman Gardens, Ilford
- Zain Ali, 20, Poulett Road, East Ham
- Esahak Yusuf, 19, Benson Avenue, East Ham
- Two 17-year-old boys (names withheld)
All are due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday, November 24.
Family in Mourning Calls for Support
Anselam’s family, devastated by the loss, has launched a GoFundMe to cover funeral costs and repatriate his body to Albania. A family member, Elira Senaj, posted: “We have lost our brother in the most tragic way possible. At the age of 26, being stabbed to death.” Another message read, “May you rest in paradise ANSI.”
Police Confirm Cause of Death and Ongoing Investigation
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called at 22:11 hrs on Saturday, 11 November to reports that a man had been stabbed inside a car. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are supported by specialist officers.”
The post-mortem on November 13 confirmed a stab wound to the chest as the cause of death. Following warrants at several London addresses on November 22, the five arrests were made.
