Man Charged with Rape in Kirklees Cemetery Horror
A criminal probe has cracked wide open in Kirklees after a 26-year-old man was hit with serious sexual offence charges. Adam Martin, from Cleckheaton, faces two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
Attack in Whitcliffe Cemetery
The alleged assault took place on December 7 inside the grounds of Whitcliffe Cemetery on Whitcliffe Road, Cleckheaton. Authorities say the victim was just 19 years old.
Swift Police Action
Following a thorough investigation, Martin was arrested and formally charged. He’s now locked up, awaiting his day in court.
Court Date Set
Martin is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court on Monday, December 11, as the case begins to unfold.
