Police Hunt Man After Brutal Phone Robbery on Teenagers in Gloucester
Police have released a CCTV snap of a man they want to quiz over a shocking phone robbery involving two teenage boys.
Violent Attack in Asda Car Park
The drama unfolded on Thursday, 14 December, just before 6pm, in the multi-storey car park at Asda on Bruton Way, Gloucester. Three teenage lads were walking when an argument broke out between two of them and an unknown man.
The aggressive stranger gave chase, forcing them onto nearby Napier Street. There, he punched one boy, threw both to the ground, and demanded their mobile phone.
Sleuths Eye Black Vauxhall Corsa in Getaway
Witnesses say the attacker drove a black Vauxhall Corsa with a red stripe, believed to be parked nearby. Following the assault, he jumped back into his car and sped off with the stolen phone.
Injured Teen Taken to Hospital
One of the lads, just 13 years old, was rushed to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital suffering from concussion and bruising.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers have now released an image of the suspect and urge anyone who recognises him or knows anything about the incident to get in touch.
