Three-Week Trial Ends in Guilty Verdict

At Basildon Crown Court, Valli was found guilty of attempted murder following a three-week trial. He is due to be sentenced on April 8 and will face separate trials for assaulting police officers and drug possession.

“The severity of the injuries and the seriousness of Valli’s actions cannot be overstated,” said Detective Inspector Yoni Adler of the Serious Crime Directorate. “Our victim has undergone four life-saving surgeries. This verdict ensures Valli is taken off the streets and cannot harm anyone else.”

The community hopes justice will finally bring closure and send a strong message against such senseless violence.
