New Charges Shock Hackney Murder Probe
Detectives probing the brutal murder of Lianne Gordon in Hackney have slammed new charges on suspects linked to the case.
Tragic Killing in Vine Close
Lianne Gordon, 42, was fatally shot in Vine Close, E5 on December 5, 2023. Police have been working tirelessly to unlock the full circumstances surrounding her death.
Elijah Sereki and Teen Face Fresh Charges
- Elijah Sereki, 20, from Worsley Grove, E5, was charged on February 27 with possession of a bladed article linked to an October 1 incident in Vine Close.
- Sereki also faces charges of possession of a firearm with intent, possession of a bladed weapon, and affray over a December 2 incident in Rendlesham Road.
- A 16-year-old boy, already charged with Lianne’s murder and attempted murder of two others on December 5, now faces the same additional charges as Sereki related to these violent acts.
Upcoming Court Dates and Ongoing Investigation
The 16-year-old boy is set to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court on March 5. Elijah Sereki will face Old Bailey on March 8.
