Five Charged Over North Weald Shooting Horror
Essex Police have charged five suspects following a chilling shooting in North Weald village. The terrifying gunfire targeted a vehicle on High Road around 1am on February 12 last year.
Major Police Raids Net Suspects Across Essex and London
After renewed appeals and reports of the firearm incident, specialist Essex officers launched a crackdown. Six warrants were carried out across Essex and London on Thursday, leading to the arrest of the five individuals linked to the shooting.
Who’s Who? The Five Face Court Over Firearm and Drug Charges
- Michael Kadiri, 26, from Loughton, charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear and conspiracy to possess ammunition.
- Jay Hunt, 19, of Dagenham, faces multiple charges including conspiracy to possess a firearm, handling stolen goods, and possessing an offensive weapon.
- Rocco Coakley, 20, from Loughton, charged with conspiracy related to firearm possession and ammunition.
- Humberto Frade, 18, from London, facing similar conspiracy charges regarding firearms and ammunition.
- Kyle Kadiri, 21, from Loughton, charged with drug offences including supply of cocaine and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
All five appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday. They were granted bail and are set for another hearing soon.
