Danielle Massey, 31, is set to appear in court facing serious charges over the death of her seven-month-old baby, Charlie Goodall. She stands accused of causing or allowing the death of a child following a tragic incident at their home.
Distressing Scene at Chilton Home
The heartbreaking case unfolded on February 16, 2022, at West Chilton Terrace in Chilton, County Durham. Emergency services were called after baby Charlie was found unresponsive in the bath. Paramedics rushed him to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle by air ambulance, but he sadly died shortly after arrival.
Cannabis Charge Adds to Mother’s Legal Troubles
Alongside the charges related to Charlie’s death, Massey also faces allegations of possessing cannabis. She is due to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on April 16 as the investigation continues.
