Knife-wielding thug stabs cop in Enfield knife drama
James Moore, 30, from Aldgate High Street, EC3, was hit with multiple charges after a violent showdown with police in Enfield last week. He’s accused of assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent, carrying a knife, and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs including crack cocaine and heroin, plus cannabis possession.
Cop stabbed during clash on Mandeville Road
The incident happened at 4.25pm on Tuesday, April 16, when officers responded to reports of a man brandishing a knife on Mandeville Road. During the tense encounter, Moore stabbed an officer, sparking a swift police response.
Officer stabilised after swift aid
Fellow officers rushed to help, administering emergency first aid before the injured cop was rushed to hospital. His condition is now stable, though he remains under treatment.

James Moore is due in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 18.
