Operation Amberstone Cracks the Case
The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary’s specialist unit, Operation Amberstone, led the investigation that landed Cann with nine counts of rape. The victims were known to him.
Shocking Abuse Recorded on Camera
In a sickening twist, Cann filmed himself raping one of the victims while she slept. The court heard how he manipulated, threatened, and verbally abused the women. One victim was even physically assaulted when she refused his advances.
Cann Denies Charges – Trial Ends in Guilty Verdict
Cann denied all offences but was found guilty at Salisbury Crown Court. He now faces sentencing, with a hearing scheduled for 22 August. He remains in custody at this time.
