Three Charged Over Fatal Bolton Stabbing
Police have charged two men and one woman following the murder of a 35-year-old man in Bolton on Friday night.
Who’s Been Charged?
- Paul Simmons from Bradford Street, Bolton, faces murder charges.
- Jordan Downes, currently with no fixed address, is charged with assisting an offender.
- Kelly Hughes, also with no fixed address, is charged with obstructing police.
All three suspects have been remanded in custody and will appear at Bolton Magistrates Court tomorrow (10 June).
A fourth man, aged 40, arrested in connection with the stabbing, has been released on bail while investigations continue.
What Happened?
The stabbing took place on Bradford Street at around 7.15pm on 7 June 2024. Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of the attack.
Despite desperate efforts, the victim died at the hospital.
