Man Jailed Over Violent Disorder Linked to Fidel Glasgow’s Death
Idris Rahman, 26, has been locked up for two years and two months for his role in the violent disorder that led to the tragic death of Fidel Glasgow in 2018.
Rahman Sentenced at Coventry Crown Court
On Monday, Coventry Crown Court handed Rahman his sentence. This comes after his conviction earlier this year for violent disorder. Rahman, from Morey Street, Coventry, is the latest of 11 men tied to the chaos surrounding Fidel’s death to be jailed.
Nearly 30 Years of Jail Time for Those Involved
The total jail time handed to the 11 men now adds up to almost three decades behind bars. Ten men were convicted in 2022 for their parts in the disorder that ended in Fidel’s death.
Still No Conviction for Fidel Glasgow’s Murder
Fidel Glasgow was just 21 when he was fatally stabbed on Croft Road in the early hours of 1st September 2018. Despite multiple convictions related to the violence, no one has yet been convicted for Fidel’s actual murder.
