55 Arrested So Far in Violence Crackdown
- Cleveland Police have arrested a total of 55 suspects linked to violent disorder across Teesside.
- 35 arrests were made today in Middlesbrough.
- Another 20 arrests relate to last Wednesday’s disorder in Hartlepool.

“The level of violence we have seen today is staggering. We know the shocking scenes across Middlesbrough will have caused alarm amongst communities,” said ACC David Felton. “I want to reassure the people of Teesside that we will continue to identify those involved in these acts of violence, arrest them, and put them before the courts.”
