Four Charged with Attempted Murder After Shocking Reading Attack

Violent Clash on Wensley Road

Four suspects, including a teenager, have been slapped with attempted murder charges following a brutal incident in Reading. Thames Valley Police confirmed the violent clash took place around 1pm on Friday, October 11, on Wensley Road.

Who’s Been Charged?

  • Dallen Brown, 22, of Swallows Croft
  • Davis Nduyimana, 22, of Granville Road
  • A 17-year-old teen (name withheld for legal reasons)
  • Keenan Dawes, 20, also from Swallows Croft

Brown, Nduyimana, and the unnamed 17-year-old were jointly charged with attempted murder and threatening with offensive weapons, including bladed articles and corrosive substances, at a private location.

Dawes, charged separately on October 17, faces attempted murder and possession of a knife or sharp object in a public place.

Court Appearances and Next Steps

Brown, Nduyimana, and the teen appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on October 15. Dawes faced the same court on October 18. All four were remanded in custody and will appear at Reading Crown Court on Monday, November 11.
