Man arrested after sex attacks at PureGym

Ashford has been rocked by shocking sex assault claims after a man was charged over attacks on three women at PureGym, Warren Retail Park. Jordan Mutemeri, 23, from Guernsey Way, was arrested shortly after a report was made just before 1am on Tuesday, 22 October 2024, to a police officer in the Eureka Park area.

Multiple charges including sexual assault and drugs possession

Mutemeri now faces a battery of charges. These include sexual assault on one woman and outraging public decency involving two others at the gym. He’s also been slapped with possession of Class B drugs, carrying an offensive weapon, and possession of a bladed article, along with a public order offence.

Remanded in custody, court date set

The 23-year-old has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court soon. Kent Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and help their ongoing investigation into the shocking gym incidents.
