Shock Knife Attack in Dagenham: Toddler and Young Girl Injured
A terrifying knife attack rocked Dagenham, East London, leaving a toddler, an eight-year-old girl, and a woman injured.
Man Charged Over Horrific Home Attack
Kulvinder Ram, 48, appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today. He faces charges of slashing a two-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl at a home in Dagenham last Friday.
All victims are known to Ram, the court heard.
Victims Seriously Hurt but Stable
The toddler suffered slash wounds to his throat. The young girl was cut from the corner of her mouth to her ear. An adult woman, who tried to shield the children, was also injured.
Emergency services rushed all three to hospital. Luckily, none of the injuries are life-threatening, and the trio are currently recovering.
Community in Shock as Investigation Continues
The violent attack has sent shockwaves through Dagenham. Neighbours expressed horror at the brutal assault.
Police are still investigating. Ram is expected back in court as the case unfolds.
