Man Charged After Brutal Ramsgate Assault
Kent Police have charged a man following a savage attack in Ramsgate just after midnight on Thursday, November 7.
Crime Shakes Harbour Street
Emergency crews rushed to Harbour Street at around 1 a.m. after reports of a serious assault. The victim was quickly taken to a London hospital, where he remains in treatment for his injuries.
Suspect Arrested and Facing Court
After a swift investigation, 43-year-old Peter Smith, homeless, was arrested at 4:30 a.m. and charged with causing grievous bodily harm (GBH). He appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court today, November 8.
Police are continuing to probe the incident as the community demands answers.
